  2. Lyon go top of Europa League tablepublished at 22:06 GMT 27 November

    Europa League

Lyon have moved to the top of the Europa League table thanks to a 6-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The French side, Midtjylland and Aston Villa are all on 12 points.

Danish side Midtjylland lost 2-1 at Roma, with Villa beating Young Boys 2-1 earlier.

Nottingham Forest are 16th, Celtic are 21st and Rangers are 33rd out of 36 with just one point.

So right now Villa would go into the last 16, Forest and Celtic would be in a play-off round and Rangers would be out.

Former Arsenal midfielder on TNT Sports

It couldn't have got any better for Sean Dyche tonight.

They had to be patient and I felt that they really were. They controlled possession and Ryan Yates' goal set them on their way. They just relaxed into the game after that.

We saw some individual players, who don't get regular minutes, bring out their quality. They have shown Sean Dyche that if needed, they are reliable. A great team performance.

  4. 'Palace could have put the game to bed'published at 22:02 GMT 27 November

    FT: Strasbourg 2-1 Crystal Palace

    Joel Ward
Former Crystal Palace defender on TNT Sports

Palace will be disappointed and rightly so. With the chances that they had throughout the game they could have put it to bed, and they will certainly rue those misses.

That is not to take anything away from Strasbourg. They were excellent, they had good intensity and they got what they deserved.

Well done Liam Rosenior!! Much deserved after being too rapidly discarded at both Derby and Hull.

Ryan Yates MOM for me, might not be the best technical player but shows what desire and effort can do for you, he’s ran the game tonight

    Nottingham Forest 3-0 Malmo

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports at the City Ground

I just feel like Malmo could've done with a bit more positivity about the way they played tonight.

They had taken few risks up until now. This is probably the most possession they have had in the whole game.

Their goalkeeper has been the standout performer, even though he has let in three goals, which just says it all.

Nottingham Forest are wearing all red tonight, just as they did in the 1979 European Cup final. They usually wear white shorts with their home kit.

Probably should've told you that earlier.
