A very animated Rangers manager, Philippe Clement, in front of me. Urging his team to up the tempo.

He's already made three changes and is not a happy home boss even although his side is still ahead

They're winning, but they're not happy, some of the home supporters.

A few howls of derision greet an attempted cross from captain James Tavernier.

Hibs have had a lot of the ball in this second half and the home fans don't like it.

Junior Hoilett has been excellent today. Looks a real threat from deliveries, showed moments of quality in one-on-one situations.

Hibs fans will be delighted with how the winger's performed today.

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

Rangers are looking increasingly disjointed and Hibs are building their attacks nicely.

Not for the first time, Kwon Hyeok-kyu pounces as the hosts are hesitant around their own penalty box, but the midfielder sends another drive from the edge of the penalty box a few feet over the crossbar.

Another Rangers change as Hamza Igamane's first start comes to an end.

It is Hibs' turn to hand their opponents a sight at goal by failing to clear their lines.

Mykola Kuharevich rises above the Rangers defence, but the big Ukrainian striker's header is well wide.

  14. Rangers missing Desserspublished at 13:04 British Summer Time

    HT: Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

    Scott Allan
Former Hibernian midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Hibs have played a part in frustrating Rangers. They've been very disciplined and organised behind the ball.

Rangers have made a few changes and are missing Cyriel Dessers - you see his value on days like today. McCausland has had his moments, Lawrence has had an outstanding finish.

David Gray will be relatively pleased with how his visitors have played.

  15. Hibs rue missed chancespublished at 13:02 British Summer Time

    HT: Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

    Steven Thompson
    Former Rangers striker on Sportsound

Hibs have actually done well in the game. They've frustrated Rangers, who haven't had many clear-cut chances.

Hibs themselves have had two or three big opportunities, but they didn't make the most of them.

It's such a massive opportunity. You don't get many chances at Ibrox and it would have been ideal for them to score.

  17. Game still in the balancepublished at 12:57 British Summer Time

    HT: Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Ibrox

Hibs will feel they should be level, but that was a very poor penalty from Mykola Kuharevich. You can't really pass up opportunities like that when you haven't won at Ibrox in over six years.

Rangers looked to have settled after that wonderful opener from Tom Lawrence, but Hibs responded well. The visitors are still right in this match, but I suspect they'll very much rue that missed spot kick.

Rangers also have a strong-looking bench to turn to should things still be on a knife-edge later in the game.

Good match, this. Plenty of jeopardy in it in what should be a fascinating second half.

  18. HALF-TIME Rangers 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time

Rangers see it out until half-time and there will be a huge sigh of relief around Ibrox from those of a home persuasion.

Despite rarely threatening the Hibs goal, Tom Lawrence's superb curler has them ahead - thanks to a VAR intervention.

VAR also came to Hibs' aid with the award of a penalty, but Mykola Kuharevich was denied the equaliser by goalkeeper Jack Butland.

  19. Huge opportunity missedpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

    Scott Allan
Former Celtic & Hibernian midfielder on BBC Sportsound

It's a huge opportunity to go into half-time level. It's a very poor penalty. He thought he'd disguised it, but it was telegraphed.

That would have given them a real platform to build on.

  20. Read like a bookpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time

    Rangers 1-0 Hibernian

    Steven Thompson
    Former Rangers striker on Sportsound

It's a really poor penalty for me. The pause as he steps up allows Butland to read it like a book.

Not enough pace on it, not in the corner, and a save you'd expect Butland to make.
