Following Celtic's midweek comeback - coming from 2-0 down at Broadwood to snatch a point - Rangers edged past Motherwell on Sunday with a narrow 2-0 victory.
Meanwhile, City put five past Aberdeen (without response) a week after sending three past Hibs, also without response.

The big news coming out of Ibrox this afternoon is that Kirsty Maclean is back in a matchday squad for the first time since 25 August after recovering from an injury.
In terms of the starting lineup, Jo Potter makes two changes from last weekend's victory over Motherwell. Kirsty Howat and Lizzie Arnot return, Rio Hardy drops to the bench while Eilidh Austin drops out of the squad.
Leanne Ross makes four changes to the side that started last weekend's 5-0 win over Aberdeen.
Lee Gibson returns in goals in place of Ava Easdon. Amy Muir, Mairead Fulton, and Sofia Maata are the outfield changes as Chloe Warrington, Wilma Forsblom and Lisa Forrest are replaced.

Rangers remain top of the SWPL after fighting back for a point against closest challengers Glasgow City at Ibrox.
Leanne Ross' side opened the scoring in the 15th minute courtesy of Emily Whelan, who capitalised on a lovely solo run from Brenna Lovera to send her low shot into the bottom corner.
City retained the lead as the game crept into the closing stages, but Jo Potter's changes made the difference and brought the hosts back into the game.
Substitute Rio Hardy levelled for Rangers with 17 minutes remaining after a lovely set-up from Katie Wilkinson.
Rangers had the better chances in the second half but City held firm defensively and saw out the game to stay a point off the top.
Rangers manager Jo Potter: "The positives I can take from it is that we got a point even though we didn't play well at all.
"I told the players at half time it was probably one of the most disappointing performances I've seen from them in my time here.
"I'm never happy drawing a game but at one point we didn't look like scoring at all so I'll take the point and move on."
Glasgow City boss Leanne Ross: "I'm really happy in terms of the first half performance but Rangers probably took more of a handle on the game in the second half.
"All in all pleased we got the point.
"If we go in at 2-0 at half-time it could be a different story.
"We know Rangers are a free-scoring team, they create lots of opportunities but I think we nullified that today."
