This will be the first ever Football League match between Crawley Town and Wrexham; the Red Devils have only lost one of the last 14 occasions they have faced a new opponent for the first time in the EFL (W9 D4), a 0-1 defeat to Sutton United in October 2021.
Crawley will be Wrexham’s 108th different Football League opponent, and the second new opponent this season, after AFC Wimbledon, who the Red Dragons drew 1-1 with in August.
Crawley have won their last three home league matches, scoring at least three goals in each game. They last won four in a row at home in April 2022.
Wrexham have scored only three goals in five away games so far this season in League Two (0.6 per game), compared to 20 goals in six home games (3.3 per game).
