This is the first time Wrexham are hosting AFC Wimbledon in a Football League match, and the first time in any competition since a 2-1 loss in the National League in October 2010.
AFC Wimbledon have both scored and conceded in all five of their Football League away games against Welsh opponents (W1 D3 L1, all vs Newport County), with each of their last three such visits ending level.
Wrexham have scored more than once in all 13 of their home league games this season. They’ve won each of their last seven at home, their longest run in the Football League since March 1993 (8).
Only Mansfield (26) and Barrow (24) have earned more away points in League Two this season than AFC Wimbledon (21). It’s already one more point than the Dons earned on the road all last season.
