People are supporting them as women but also as England and being really desperate for them to win the title. The game has changed so much. I know a lot of my lad mates are throwing parties today because they want to support the girls, they want to make sure they go on and win. The support of the nation has been brilliant.

England forward Beth Mead, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: I think we're just giving everyone their money's worth, you know, a bit of extra time! No, it's not being the smoothest ride to say the least, but that's football, that's how it works out sometimes and I think that's why everyone loves the game, that it is last minute winners or equalizers or keep you in the game and yeah, I guess that's why we all love football. But no, it's not straightforward at all but we've got there, we've made it to the final.
