Alex Pattison scored his first goal of the season to earn Bradford a point

Bradford City battled back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Rotherham United.

The Millers held a two-goal advantage but League One leaders Bradford staged a late comeback to earn a point.

Good chances fell to both sides early on.

First Denzel Hall should have done better after being found in space.

Then Will Swan broke clear twice before dragging wide one-on-one with Cameron Dawson and then being denied by the goalkeeper.

Rotherham went in front after 20 minutes with a slick move which was finished off by Hall after neat touches by Josh Benson and Kion Etete lined up the chance from the edge of the box.

Rotherham doubled their advantage after 50 minutes when Ar'jany Martha cut through the Bradford defence and played in Reece James who squared for half-time substitute Martin Sherif to tap home.

Bradford struck one back after 56 minutes with Antoni Sarcevic turning in Josh Neufville's centre.

Pattison then missed a golden chance to strike level as he dragged his effort wide on the angle.

The same player redeemed himself after 81 minutes after he was put in by Andy Cook and finished beyond Dawson.
