Swan has another chance when a long ball finds Antoni Sarcevic, who clips it into the striker's path but Millers keeper Cameron Dawson is there to deny an opener.

I think top is going to take some doing, but top half would be a really good season for Bradford.

The way the teams at the top keep getting beat, you think maybe they could keep going and have an incredible season.

They have beaten good teams, like Huddersfield, Cardiff and Luton but it is still early days.

Max Power's fifth yellow card means he's suspended and forces Bradford boss Graham Alexander into one of two changes for tonight.

The other to miss out is Matthew Pennington, who doesn't make the trip.

Neill Byrne and Alex Pattison slot into the starting XI to complete the line-up, while Joe Wright makes the bench after a three match absence as he returns from injury.

Did anyone outside of the Bantams faithful see Bradford City as the front-runners for automatic promotion this season?

If you did not before, then it is time to reassess because Bradford are certainly making their mark on League One.

They have suffered just one loss all season and since that disappointment at Doncaster, have won all of their following three league matches to put themselves into the role of leaders.

But sometimes playing a local team that everyone expects you to swat away with relative ease can be tricky to navigate mentally and boss Graham Alexander has no intentions of taking it easy on their Yorkshire rivals.

"The players are learning to stay consistent with their mindset and what we have to do in a game," Alexander told BBC Radio Leeds.

"What I like about my players is that we look at every game as the same thing, whether we are playing at home or Newcastle away, we still get on with the same approach.

"I've not seen any signs within our squad that underestimating an opponent will be a problem for us."

When Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner once crooned "you're not from New York City, you're from Rotherham," he was serving up a reality check.

It's that very dose of humility that the Millers, who do in fact both hail from Rotherham and New York (Stadium), are looking to impose on Bradford this evening.

The bright lights of Rotherham's home ground weren't quite as enchanting of those over in the Big Apple last time out, seeing their first home loss of the season against Stockport to contribute to a three-match losing streak, but it has been the only place they've found success in the league.

All their away matches have ended in defeat and their performances in New York (Stadium) may prove vital to their season.

A win against the league leaders would send a message to the rest of the league - come beat us at our fortress, if you can...

Bradford City's re-emergence in League One has caused some mighty upsets to the big boys.

Recent victories against Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City have aided their climb to the apex of the table, one point ahead of Stevenage in second.

Meanwhile for Rotherham, it's been a struggle and only goal difference sees them above Peterborough at the bottom.

A win for the Millers will see them out of the relegation hot spots, while a victory for the Bantams means they reserve another blissful weekend unable to be toppled from the top.

Got your Wensleydale cheese and crackers at the ready? Tonight sees an all-Yorkshire blow-out between Rotherham United and league leaders Bradford City.

The two sides have met twice in the last 12 months, each taking a win apiece with a single goal on the road.

But that was in search of the EFL Trophy and today's encounter is in the league, one that the Bantams are faring considerably better in so far.
