Kathleen McGovern's double helped Hibs to a 3-1 victory over Edinburgh rivals Hearts in the final derby of the season.

Hibs returned to the top of the SWPL table, having slipped behind Glasgow City following their win over Celtic earlier in the day, with the win at Oriam.

Kathleen McGovern scored twice in less than 15 minutes to put the visitors 2-0 up in the first half in Edinburgh.

Lauren Wade pulled one back for the hosts in the second half, when she turned in Emma Brownlie's cross.

But Eilidh Adams made it a comfortable end to the match with her goal half an hour from full time. She got onto the end of a ball over the top and slotted past Rachael Johnstone in the Hearts goal.

The defeat ended Hearts' hopes of securing European football but returned Hibs three points clear at the summit of the SWPL.
