Andy Cook rescued Bradford City with a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Barrow at Valley Parade.
Both teams have been struggling for goals and that was evident in a poor first half.
Andy Dallas fired an early chance over for the visitors while Olly Sanderson headed Cook’s cross straight at Barrow keeper Paul Farman at the other end.
There was little incident at either end until the end of the half when Alex Pattison, starting his first game for over two months, forced a low save from Farman. Clarke Oduor latched onto the rebound but his effort was charged down.
Barrow broke the deadlock after 58 minutes when Robbie Gotts stole in at the near post to steer Ben Jackson’s pass beyond keeper Sam Walker.
The Bluebirds were on course for their first league win since October 5 – a run of seven games.
But Cook levelled with his 10th league goal of the season and 12th in all competitions, his firm header from substitute Bobby Pointon’s cross flying past Farman.
