Joe Grey scored twice as Hartlepool edged a thrilling National League game with Solihull Moors.
Hartlepool went ahead in the 17th minute when Emmanuel Dieseruvwe charged down a goal kick and Adam Campbell drilled underneath the goalkeeper and into the net.
Solihull rallied and drew themselves level when Bradley Stevenson played a ball into Conor Wilkinson who fired beyond Brad Young.
Hartlepool restored their lead six minutes before the break when Grey scored from close range after goalkeeper Laurie Walker had palmed away Luke Charman’s cross.
Wilkinson crossed for Matthew Warburton to level after 51 minutes and Moors were ahead after 59 when Stevenson tapped home from close range after a header from a corner came back off the bar.
But Hartlepool levelled immediately when Grey turned home Charman’s cross and they won it five minutes later with Charman again the architect as he picked out Dieseruvwe to score.
