    Coleraine 0-1 Ballymena United

What a waste of a corner from Daniel Lafferty.

With everybody up from the back he overhits his kick which goes out harmlessly on the far side.

Ballymena boss Jim Ervin won't be happy with that.

Glenavon are appealing that the ball struck the hand of Steven McCullough in the process. However referee Lee Tavinder waves away the appeals.

Almost an immediate response from the home side.

Corey Smith beats his man on the left before delivering an inviting cross to the back post where Matthew Shevlin meets it with his head.

The ball appears to be bound for the far corner only for Aaron Jarvis to somehow get back and hook the ball clear off the goal line.

Vital intervention from the former Coleraine midfielder.

    Larne 0-0 Carrick Rangers

Danny Gibson arrives on the edge of the Larne penalty area but his shot from a narrow angle is beaten away at the near post by Rohan Ferguson.

  7. Postpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Crusaders 0-0 Cliftonville

This game is livening up! From that corner, Jordan Forsythe's effort is breavely blocked by Axel Piesold and Cliftonville can break. Its two on one as Rory Hale looks up and promptly picks out the one Crues defender.

The hosts have now got a second corner in quick concession but it goes straight into Lewis Ridd's gloves.

    Have Coleraine got a response?

    Larne 0-0 Carrick Rangers

Larne have another goal chalked off.

From a rapid attack on the right flank, Tomas Cosgrove's cross is fired goalwards by Andy Ryan.

    Glenavon 1-0 Portadown

Great defending by David Toure to rob Ryan Mayse of the ball before he can get a strike away.

The chance came on the counter attack with Eamon Fyfe and Josh Ukek pushing Portadown forward.

  15. 'Absolute sitter'published at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Glentoran 0-0 Linfield

    Liam Beckett
    Sportsound summariser

That's an absolute sitter - Jenkins was brave and never shied away from it. He lobbed it over the keeper but it went wide. Glentoran should be one up. There's no respite for Linfield whatsoever.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Glentoran 0-0 Linfield

Best chance of the game so far and it's come from the hosts.

James Singleton flicks Marcus Kane's ball on, as Jordan Jenkins tries to lift the ball over the onrushing David Walsh, but his lob falls just wide of the far upright.

The game is certainly livening up now.

Kyle Cherry's clever through ball sets Paul Heatley scampering down the channel.

  19. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Crusaders 0-0 Cliftonville

Half an hour gone and this game has been high on effort but low on quality. Neither keeper has really had a difficult save to make and it is slightly low-key for a usually spicy derby clash.

  20. 'Both sides lacking confidence'published at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Crusaders 0-0 Cliftonville

    Philip Major
    Sportsound summariser

It looks like both sides are lacking confidence, it is disappointing there has not been much for the big crowd to shout about.
