  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

A third change for the home side as Alex Gawne goes off to be replaced by Jordan McMullan.

  3. Postpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Jack Malone's free kick drops for Chris Atherton but he blasts over the bar and over the stand housing the travelling fans.

Largely one-way traffic but a bit of a head-scratcher at the other end as a goal kick is awarded when it appeared obvious that the last touch came off a Glenavon man.

Former Larne hero David McDaid is replaced by Paul McGovern for the Lurgan Blues.

Into the last quarter of an hour here at Inver Park.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-1 Glentoran

Ballymena boss Jim Ervin turns to his bench in a bid to rescue something from this game.

Joe Moore and James Hood replace Calvin McCurry and Aaron Jarvis respectively.

They have 15 minutes to affect this game.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-1 Glentoran

As clear a yellow card as you're ever likely to see.

Alex Gawne goes into referee Jamie Robinson's notebook after hauling down Christie Pattison as he breaks clear in midfield.

Think that's what called taking one for the team...

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-1 Glentoran

A second enforced change for Glentoran as Joe Thomson limps off to be replaced by Finley Thorndike.

Earlier, Dylan Connolly looked to be injured when Nathaniel Ferris came on.

All adding to manager Declan Devine's woes in the midst of a hectic schedule.

  7. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Rohan Ferguson again! The Larne keeper is making a very strong case for man of the match as he gets his body behind Len O'Sullivan's unorthodox, swirling effort from range.

He reacts quickly to deny Harry Murphy (again!) who was first to the rebound but the offside flag was up anyway.

  8. Postpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-1 Glentoran

A big chance for Nathaniel Ferris to open his Glentoran account as he gets the better of Daniel Lafferty in the corner before making his way into the box.

He manages to bustle his way past a defender but his shot is blocked on the line and forced out for a corner.

  9. Breakthrough at the Showgroundspublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-1 Glentoran

It's a tidy finish by Christie Pattisson, but what about that ball from Danny Amos.

    On. The. Money.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

A stunning stop from Rohan Ferguson! The ball drops to Michael O'Connor around 30 yards out and he takes a snap shot that is destined for the bottom corner.

Ferguson is alert and tips it on to the post and away to safety. Glenavon are knocking at the door but, so far, the Larne keeper still has the keys!

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Harry Murphy comes close with another header! This one is parried away by Rohan Ferguson but I'm not sure how much the Larne keeper knew about it.

The chance came after Len O'Sullivan's cross took a wicked deflection off Chris Gallagher, wrong-footing many in the box.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Rhys Marshall is clearly still feeling the effects of that earlier blow to the head and is replaced by Peter Campbell just before the hour mark.

Should Marshall have been allowed to continue after the initial head knock earlier?

  13. Postpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-1 Glentoran

A real body blow to Ballymena that goal with half an hour remaining.

United defender Daithi McCallion looked to have Amos's long ball covered but he didn't get the connection he was looking for and Pattisson capitalised, showing great composure to slide the ball past Sean O'Neill.

What do the home team have in response?

  14. goal

GOAL - Ballymena United 0-1 Glentoranpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Christie Pattisson (57 mins)

The deadlock is finally broken just before the hour as Christie Pattisson gets on the end of a long ball from Danny Amos to slot home past Sean O'Neill from 12 yards.

  15. Postpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Genavon

An awkward one for Rohan Ferguson as David McDaid's shot from the edge of the box dips at the last.

It is turned behind for a corner that is headed wide by Harry Murphy.

Probably the closest Paddy McLaughlin's men have come this evening.

  16. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

A chance for the home side as Success Edogun rolls his marker before letting fly from the edge of the area.

    The shot lacks accuracy, however.

  17. Postpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Chaos in the Glenavon area as Tadhg Ryan slices his clearance high into the air and Tiarnan O'Connor pounces.

However, the Glenavon keeper does enough to put him off and the stabbed effort ripples the side netting. A huge sigh of relief from Ryan there!

  18. Postpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

A positive start from the home start it may be but Glentoran come close to opening the scoring.

Danny Amos gets to the byline before cutting the ball back across goal.

Sean O'Neill does well to punch the ball clear but it falls kindly for Cammy Palmer who tries to steer the ball into the top corner of the net from just inside the penalty box.

Unfortunately for the visitors the ball goes the wrong side of the post.

  19. Postpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

The free-kick from the left side of the area is squared to Aaron Donnelly who was lurking with intent on the edge of the box.

He hits a first-time effort but whips it wide of the post.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Chris Atherton is immediately booked less than two minutes in as he lunges in on the accelerating Olatunde Bayode.
