No changes for either side at half-time.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Tiarnan O'Connor's goal inside ten minutes is the difference between the sides but, other than that, we have seen precious little by way of goalmouth action.

Hopefully, we will see more to warm us up after the break.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

It's as you were at the break as a hotly contested opening 45 minutes comes to a close.

Glentoran have looked the more likely to score, coming closest through Jordan Jenkins whose shot was touched on to a post by Sean O'Neill, but Ballymena United have had their moments on the counter.

Success Edogun was denied by a smart save from Daniel Gyollai early on and continues to carry the greatest threat for the home side.

Hopefully we see some goals after the half-time cuppa.'

  6. INJURY TIMEpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

We will have five added minutes at the end of the first half. We have had a few substantial stoppages for injuries so that seems reasonable.

  7. Postpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

Two additional minutes to be played at the end of the first half.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

Dylan Connolly's night is over just before the break.

The winger limps off to be replaced by Nathaniel Ferris who joined Glentoran from Loughgall in January.

  9. Postpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Some concern here for Rhys Marshall as, in the process of fouling Jordan McEneff, he has taken a blow to the head.

He is able to walk off under his own strength and returns immediately to play. Hopefully he is not showing any signs of concussion as he was not checked before returning.

  10. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

Concern for Glentoran as Dylan Connolly slumps to the turf awaiting the physio.

  11. Postpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

A strong run out of defence from Conor Barr gets the home crowd on their feet but a loose pass in the final third undoes all his good work.

Still, encouragement for Jim Ervin and his players.

  12. Postpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

The closest we've come to getting a goal.

Jordan Jenkins, Glentoran's leading goalscorer this season, is quickest to react to a breaking ball on the penalty spot, sweeping a right foot shot towards goal.

Ballymena United 'keeper Sean O'Neill dives full stretch to his right, diverting the ball on to the post with his fingertips before the ball is hacked clear.

Big chance for the visitors to break the deadlock.

  13. Postpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Just over half an hour gone and some appreciative applause from both ends as Glenavon, first, play some Pep Guardiola-esque stuff on the edge of the Larne box.

Aaron Donnelly puts a stop to it and Tiarnan O'Connor at full tilt almost keeps his pass in but the home fans recognise the striker's commitment and effort.

  14. Postpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

Approaching the half hour where Glentoran have just gone close from a free-kick.

Danny Amos takes it short to Joe Thomson but the former Larne man fails to test Sean O'Neill.

Moments earlier, Success Edogun does well to outpace the Glentoran defence but his shot lacks power and is easily gathered by Daniel Gyollai.

  15. Postpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

A decent spell of pressure from the visitors ends with Cammy Palmer screwing his right foot shot from just inside the penalty area wide of the far post.

  16. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Here's how Tiarnan O'Connor opened the scoring at Inver Park.

He's had some start to life at Larne after joining from H&W Welders in January!

  17. Postpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

Daniel Lafferty seizes on a poor Glentoran clearance and fancies his chances from long range.

But, just like Johnny Russell before him at the other end, his effort goes well wide of the target.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Larne 1-0 Glenavon

Andy Ryan perhaps should have done better there! Jordan McEneff robs Niall Quinn on the right corner of the area and squares it to Ryan.

The Scottish striker takes it first time but can't keep it down. A let-off for Glenavon!

  19. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

Jonathan Russell creates enough space for the shot but his long distance effort with his left foot goes way over the bar.

  20. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

    Ballymena United 0-0 Glentoran

Midway through the opening half and it's been an even enough contest thus far.

The Glens have looked the more dangerous going forward but in Success Edogun the home side has a real focal point in attack.
