Bradford were held to a 0-0 draw at Accrington which keeps them second in League Two.

Stanley dominated the first-half chances but the only shot on target came after 39 minutes through captain Seamus Conneely, with his strike easily collected by Bradford keeper Sam Walker.

Graham Alexander made a quadruple substitution after 58 minutes as he looked for City to make more of an impact in front of goal.

They immediately forced a succession of corners, with one of the substitutes, Alex Pattison, who scored the winning goal against Stanley in the reverse match, having a shot deflected wide and one off-target.

The game got increasingly heated but the sides had to share the spoils, with Bradford not having a shot on target in the match.
