We didn't see much of Aoba Fujino in the first half but she gets the ball on her left foot 25 yards out and drives it at goal. But all credit to away goalkeeper Carina Schulter, who has been equal to everything thrown at her so far and again displays good handling.

I think from listening to the manager and staff and players at the start of the season, this year Manchester City are wanting to win something.

They laid their cards out. They are not looking to do as well as they can in the Champions League, or do as well as they can in the league, they want to win everything that’s available to them come the end of the season.

I don’t know if they can make it [the Champions League] a priority as such and also the run that they’ll be on in the Champions League is very much dependent on the draw. Who will they be facing in the knockout rounds? How does that fall in line with the domestic fixtures?

Who is available? Have you still got long-term injuries? Have you got Miedema back? Have you got Lauren Hemp back? I think they will just try and win anything they can and if it ends up being the Champions League I’m sure they will be absolutely delighted.

Ewa Pajor has got hers and Barcelona's second goal of the game, finishing from close range into the roof of the net after Hammarby failed to deal with a corner swung in from the right.

Goalless at the break but all of City's thoughts will be with England defender Alex Greenwood, who was taken off on a stretcher earlier in the first half with what looked a serious left knee injury.

Mary Fowler swings in a free-kick from close to the right touchline, but Alanna Kennedy can't control the cross and the chance comes nothing.

Soon after Fowler almost gets to a ball played across the penalty area, but Chiara D'Angelo makes a superb goal-saving defensive block.

That close call for Yamashita has somewhat buoyed the handful of St Polten fans who have made the trip over from Austria. They haven't had much to shout about to be fair as City have absolutely dominated this first half. Crucially though, it's still goalless.

Ayaka Yamashita in the City goal takes a risk as she nearly takes too long to clear as St Polten closed in. But the keeper gets away with it and is able to get the ball away.

An uneasy silence has filled the Joie Stadium as the medical team bring a stretcher on to the pitch for Alex Greenwood. Her team-mates are clearly concerned, as are supporters in the stands. The England international is applauded as she leaves the field on a stretcher.

Manchester City and England defender Alex Greenwood has her shirt pulled over her face as she is strapped to the stretcher and then carried off the pitch.

On comes Laia Aleixandri.

A stretcher has been called for and Alex Greenwood is being consoled by her team-mates. Hopefully this is not as bad as this is looking.

A first chance for the Austrians. Sophie Hillebrand strikes the ball nicely from 25 yards out but it whistles just over the top of Ayaka Yamashita's goal.

Manchester City forward Chloe Kelly is watching from the stands tonight.

Boss Gareth Taylor said it would be "touch and go" as to whether Kelly could feature after suffering a concussion while on international duty with England.

He is hopeful she will return for Sunday's Women's Super League game against Everton.

Manchester City are having an absolute field day down the left-hand side. Lily Murphy is positioned right on the touchline, meaning that St Polten right wing-back Sarah Mattner is having to come out of position to close her down.

That's creating a huge gap between herself and the right centre-back that Murphy and Laura Blindkilde Brown keep running into.

Laura Blindkilde Brown looks to race on to a pass but Carina Schulter has a good starting position and is able to sprint off her line and gather by diving at the Manchester City player's feet.

Ewa Pajor has struck for Barcelona with a low shot on the turn which just about finds the bottom corner to put Barca 1-0 ahead in their match in Sweden against Hammarby.

Barcelona won 9-0 in the opening game between the two and have only needed seven minutes to get one on the board tonight.

Carina Schulter is going to be busy. She gathers another cross well. St Polten are going to need their keeper to play well if they are to get a positive result.

Jess Park tries her luck from 30 yards out, the ball bounces just in front of Carina Schulter, but the goalkeeper does well to watch it and gather cleanly.

St Polten are struggling to get the ball, with only 20% possession in the opening 10 minutes.
