Blackpool have won just one of their five home league games against Cambridge United (D2 L2), drawing each of their last two meetings at Bloomfield Road 1-1.
After their 2-1 home win in December, Cambridge United could earn only their second ever league double over Blackpool, after 1993-94.
Blackpool have only scored three goals in their last seven league games, failing to find the net in their last three. The Tangerines have already failed to score in four in a row once already this season, doing so in August.
After losing two of their first three under Garry Monk (D1), Cambridge have won their last two League One matches. They haven’t won three in a row in the league in the same season since January 2022.
