After their 2-1 win in September, Barnsley are looking to complete their first ever league double over Northampton Town.
This will be Northampton Town’s first away league game at Barnsley since New Year’s Day 2003, when they won 2-1 under former manager Kevan Broadhurst.
Barnsley have failed to win any of their last five league games (D1 L4) and will be looking to avoid suffering a longer run for the first time since a streak of 10 matches without a win between March and July 2022.
Northampton Town have lost just one of their last 13 games which have fallen on the last day of a league season (W7 D5), going unbeaten across their seven away matches during that time (W5 D2).
