    Portadown 1-0 Loughgall

Portadown go in a goal to the good thanks to a moment of magic from Steven McCullough.

With around three minutes on the clock, he sent the ball into the top corner of the net despite Loughgall keeper Nathan Gartside getting a hand to it.

Around five minutes later McCullough could have made it too but his effort was a weak one that Gartside easily saved.

Later in the half, Caolan McAleer really should have pulled Loughgall level – he pounced on a poor pass back by Aaron Traynor but sent his effort wide of the post.

And in one of the last actions of the half, Shay McCartan nearly doubled the Ports’ tally with a move he started and got on the end of, but Gartside got a strong hand to his strike from the edge of the area to prevent the ball going into the net.
