Wrexham preserved their place at the top of the League One table courtesy of a hard-fought 2-1 win over Crawley Town at the Stok Racecourse.
Elliot Lee fired home at the back post from a Max Cleworth cross to give the hosts the lead on 24 minutes.
Junior Quitirna latched on to Ronan Darcy's pass before drilling beyond Arthur Okonkwo to make it 1-1 nine minutes into the second-half.
But Phil Parkinson's men clinched victory 11 minutes from time as Cleworth nodded George Dobson's cross into the net as Wrexham clinched a fifth league win of the campaign.
The Red Dragons - whose tally of 73 home league goals since the start of the 2023-24 season is the most of any side across England's top four divisions - stay ahead of Birmingham City on goal difference.
Scott Lindsey's Crawley side fall to 17th.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said: "It was a tough afternoon for us.
"In the first three games of the season at home, we've been excellent. Today we didn't reach those levels with or without the ball and I thought we caused our own problems, certainly in the first half, by putting them on the counter attack with loose passes.
"We've had games like that before here, over the years, where you don't play at your best for whatever reason, and it's up to the staff and myself to look for those reasons.
"But it's about getting the result and finding a way to win and we've done that today with a terrific cross and a great finish from Max."
