Wycombe Wanderers are on a marvellous unbeaten streak.

It's been 18 games since the Chairboys last registered a loss in League One and it's allow them to spend some quality time at the top of the table.

They've since been displaced by big-spending Birmingham City just before Christmas but with one point between them, Wycombe will be wanting to be the ones at the peak come the New Year.

Though their hosts have an undefeated run of their own.

Stevenage are on a five league game unbeaten streak and have not lost a Boxing Day match since 2017 (W2 D2).

While Wycombe have lost four of their past five Boxing Day fixtures, with their only win coming against Bristol Rovers in 2022.

Will either side see their run come to an end with just two more games to go before the tune of Auld Lang Syne rings across the country?

Second-placed Port Vale will be aiming to keep pace with leaders Walsall when they meet Bradford at Valley Parade. Darren Moore’s side could really do with the three points if they are to do so though, after four draws and one defeat in their past five league games.

Crewe, meanwhile, are unbeaten in 12 league games and could break into the automatic promotion places if other results go their way as they make the trip to Cheltenham.

In-form Chesterfield will also hope relevant results work in their favour if they are to push into the top three but they’ll need to do their job at Highbury Stadium today when they face Fleetwood who sacked manager Charlie Adam on Sunday, and replaced him with Pete Wild, after a run of one win in their past 11 league games.

AFC Wimbledon who fell to their first defeat in five games last time out against Chesterfield will be looking to get back on track when as they welcome Swindon who have two wins in their past three league games.

Notts County who picked up a much-needed first win in six games against Bradford last Saturday make the trip to Stadium MK to face an MK Dons side who have lost their past two league games including a 6-3 defeat at Newport last time out which Dons captain Alex Gilbey said was "embarrassing."

Grimsby welcome Harrogate to Blundell Park with the Mariners going into today’s game on the back of successive defeats. Despite that they sit just outside the play-off positions but will look to improve on their recent home record of five defeats in their past six.

Gillingham make the trip to face unbeaten in seven Colchester while Salford welcome Barrow to the Peninsula Stadium. And Accrington with no wins in their past six and four points from safety travel to Tranmere.

    Carlisle v Morecambe (15:00 GMT)

We have a good old basement battle today as 24th-placed Morecambe travel to Brunton Park to face a Carlisle side who switched spots with them after their respective results last time out.

The Cumbrians have only lost one of their last six league games, but they have only won one, with four draws.

Boss Mike Williamson is well aware that his side need to be more clinical ahead of their "huge" Boxing Day clash.

"I don't need to quantify this game, it's huge," Williamson told BBC Radio Cumbria. "We had a good November, but we need to turn those draws into wins."

Morecambe need a win and fast after they fell to their third straight against Bromley on Saturday to leave them slumped at the foot of the League Two table.

Their Boxing Day record has not been great recently either having won just one of their last six league games (D1 L4), with their last such victory away from home coming against Mansfield Town in 2016.

The Shrimps have however won five of their past six Football League games against sides from Cumbria (L1), a run which has seen them concede just four goals in total.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Leyton Orient 3-0 Crawley Town

A few changes to note for the away side too.

Panutche Camara and Armando Junior Quitirna have replaced Jack Roles and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy.

Benjamin Tanimu has also come on for Jeremy Kelly.

  10. Walsall to continue festive cheer?published at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Walsall v Doncaster (15:00 GMT)

    Nathan LoweImage source, Rex Features

There’s lot of festive cheer about at Walsall as they sit pretty on top of the League Two tree, six points clear, unbeaten in their past 11 league games and have won their past four games.

The Saddlers have been victorious in 10 of their past 13 league games against Doncaster (L3) and have scored in every match during that run.

They also have a good record on Boxing Day having won three of their last four league games, with each of those victories seeing them score exactly two goals.

Mat Sadler’s side will be hoping their top marksman Nathan Lowe keeps up his good form with the forward on loan from Stoke netting his 10th league goal of the season in Saturday’s win at Harrogate.

Third-placed Doncaster returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-1 win over Tranmere last time out.

They were victorious the last time they faced Walsall coming out as 2-1 winners at the Eco-Power Stadium. But they have lost five of their past six away league games at the Poundland Bescot Stadium (W1)

Each of Rovers’ last five league games played on Boxing Day have finished 3-0 either way, with the South Yorkshire outfit losing three of those matches (W2).

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:28 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

The home side make their first change.

Jack Simpson is replaced by Dan Happe.

  12. Postpublished at 14:26 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Leyton Orient 3-0 Crawley

It is just wave after wave of Orient attack at the moment.

Crawley are defensively struggling to cope with their opponents and looking low in confidence, unable to maintain possession of the ball when they have it.

Ollie O'Neill has a header cleared off the line and Jamie Donley is denied by Crawley keeper Jojo Wollacottall in the space of a few moments.

  13. Postpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December

    Leyton Orient 3-0 Crawley

That second goal really seemed to dishearten the Crawley players after a fairly decent start to the second half.

Orient are all over their opponents now and look by far the superior side, playing with confidence and feeling like they can score every time they come forward.

The third has surely wrapped up the result but there is still a good half hour to go in this game, can the away side get themselves on the scoresheet?

The home side double their lead!

It's another really well-worked move by Orient and credit has to go to Jack Currie who shrugged off a number of challenges in a burst down the left-hand side before crossing the ball into the box.

The pass works its way to Agyei at the back post who controls it before taking on the strike with his left foot and sending it high into the back of the net.

The home side lead as we reach half-time.

Crawley Town started the game well but Leyton Orient have grown into the half as it progressed.

The home side have had a few chances to extend their lead but have been unable to do so as of yet.

Improvement needed from Crawley after the break, for Orient they need more of the same with some extra quality in the final third.
