Barnet survived a late surge from visitors Rochdale to get their National League season back on track with a nervy 2-1 win at The Hive.
Nicke Kabamba’s early strike and a second from Ben Coker just before the break appeared to have steered the Bees back to winning ways after two straight defeats.
But Rochdale stirred in the second period with Liam Hogan seeing an effort booted off the line before Ian Henderson seized on a weak back-pass to narrow the deficit on 70 minutes.
Rochdale’s brave attempt to rescue a point saw both Tarryn Allarakhia and Courtney Senior hit the woodwork in injury time as the hosts just about managed to hold firm.
