Two first half Luke Hannant penalties helped Gateshead return to winning ways as they beat Wealdstone 4-0 in the National League.

Gateshead had an early chance when Louis Flower nodded over the crossbar and the visitors were awarded a penalty on the half-hour mark, which was slotted home by Hannant.

George Shelvey made a save to push Harrison Sohna's curling strike behind before the Heed came close again as Branden Horton's effort was saved.

The visitors then were awarded another penalty in the first minute of first half added time and Hannant stepped up to double the lead.

Gateshead wrapped up victory when Jovan Malcolm added a third and the forward struck again in the second minute of stoppage time to secure the side's first National League win of 2025.
