Sonia's transition into the role has been seamless and every single Chelsea game is an exciting game.

This is a team that has been a long time in the making. When you look at what Emma Hayes did in building the team and the mentality monsters, this has been a long time coming.

Chelsea captain Millie Bright will equal the record for most starts made in Women’s Super League history (186 currently, Mary Earps 187) when she lines up against West Ham this afternoon.

Her first start in the competition came for Doncaster Rovers Belles vs Bristol City in May 2012.

Chelsea

Aggie-Beever Jones has scored 13 goals in just 14 WSL starts for Chelsea, the best goals per start rate in the club’s history in the competition (0.93, Sam Kerr – 0.89).

The 21-year-old has netted in each of her first five home league starts for the Blues (6 goals), the only player in the competition’s history to do so for any club.

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham captain Ella Morris speaking on Sky Sports: "It's just good to get a point on the board and we could have got more but it is a positive result for us.

"It was a tough game and we could have got them but it there are positives from that game. That is all we can do. We want to end the season on a high and we have stuck together.

"There are highs and lows and it is about how we can build the positives. It is good for us to get that draw. We found the solutions and we are getting better every day."

Chelsea are still unbeaten in WSL this season after 17 games, winning 15 and drawing two.

The only sides that have taken points off them so far are Leicester City and Brighton.

West Ham are looking up these days, with three wins and a draw from their last six league games.

However they face a tough task away from home if they are to become just the third side to take points off the runaway leaders.

The Blues have won 92% of their 13 meetings with West Ham United in the WSL (W12 D1).

While the Hammers are on a 14 game winless run away from home.

West Ham boss Rehanne Skinner says her side are becoming "a real force to be reckoned with" after an upturn in form.

The Hammers beat Tottenham 2-0 on Sunday after they held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw the week before.

Asked what has been behind the team's recent success, Skinner said: "We're obviously just more composed structurally and just in terms of how we manage the game in and out of possession.

"We've been effective when we've gone forward scoring as well. So obviously we've got goals out of games.

"I think when we are transitioning to attack, we're becoming a real force to be reckoned with.

"We're capable of scoring goals against anybody."

Chelsea return to WSL action fresh from securing their place in the Women's Champions League semi-finals - but manager Sonia Bompastor says there will be no distractions for her players.

The Blues sit eight points clear at the top of the WSL table as they seek to win the quadruple this season.

They face a West Ham team in form with Rehanne Skinner's side picking up seven points from their last four matches.

"My players are really competitive and want to win every single game. The one on Sunday will be no different for that reason," said Bompastor.

"We have experience enough in the squad and in the staff to just focus on the league. Our goal now is to win the title as quick as possible.

"To do that, we really have to win on Sunday. I will always put out my best team to make sure we achieve that goal."
