Jordan Bowery's goal against Rotherham was his first for Mansfield this season

Mansfield battled back from two goals down to earn a 3-3 draw at Rotherham.

The point was secured by one-time Miller Jordan Bowery after the visitors had trailed 3-1.

Two goals and an assist from Mallik Wilks had looked like heaping more pressure on the Stags but a late fightback helped them bag what could be a valuable point in their relegation battle.

Mansfield went ahead in the eighth minute when George Maris deflected in Louis Reed's effort with a deft header.

Wilks then smashed Rotherham level after 17 minutes when finding space outside the box and lashing into the top corner.

Wilks went on to link up with Sam Nombe to put Rotherham ahead in the first half before netting the third with a fine solo effort after 66 minutes.

He powered by Caylan Vickers in his own half before getting into the box on the angle and firing into the bottom corner.

Mansfield got one back on 77 minutes when Aden Flint powered home from close range and the leveller came three minutes from time with Bowery on hand to tap in from Vickers's header.

Keanu Baccus could have snatched three points but he fired off target after evading several challenges.
