Kudus puts a lovely weight on the through ball to Richarlison, you could argue that Chevalier is too high up the field trying to read it. Richarlison shoots straight at the goalkeeper and it looks like it is going up and over him. If Chevalier is five yards closer to his goal then he catches that, but instead he has to tip it over for a corner.

There's been no clear cut attempts on target and the game has been played predominantly in the middle third of the pitch.

Now a cross by Pape Matar Sarr which sails harmlessly out of play.

I'll be honest, this isn't edge-of-your-seat stuff.

That free-kick ends with a header sailing over the bar and behind where the PSG fans are seated.

Tottenham have had 28% overall possession in the opening 16 minutes yet look lively on the counter. The opening stages have been peppered by fouls and Spurs have just been awarded a free-kick in a decent position.

Quick break from Tottenham, turnover of possession as Bentancur dispossesses Kvaratskhelia and then Richarlison makes a mess of it. He stands on the ball and falls over and inadvertently plays the ball back to Bentancur in an offside position.

Another marauding run by Richarlison who makes it to the edge of the PSG box before losing possession.

It's 2-1 to Tottenham in terms of attempts.

However, Guglielmo Vicario and Lucas Chevalier have yet to make a save.

Encouraging signs from Mohammed Kudus who is out wide scampering towards the PSG box. He eventually finds Richarlison but his attempt is well off target.

Noticeable here that inside the opening 10 minutes, Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario has punted the ball long on five occasions.

That's a clear move away from Ange Postecoglou's approach.

You can already see the handprints of Thomas Frank all over this Tottenham team. From the kick-off Vicario went long to Richarlison, then there was the Danso long throw-in and there the free-kick from Vicario high into the box.

He knows how important set-pieces can be with the height that they have in this team. He is making no apologies from putting the ball in the right areas and playing higher up the field.

First serious danger for Spurs!

Paris St-Germain's first serious attack ends with a clever turn inside the box by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who sends his attempt wide.

Tottenham had three touches inside the Paris St-Germain penalty area in the opening six minutes. PSG are yet to reach the Spurs box.

A busy start by Pedro Porro who is on the receiving end of an illegal challenge by Nuno Mendes which results in a free-kick just inside the PSG half. It's launched forward by goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario but it comes to nothing.

Achraf Hakimi looked to play a ball across the pitch and got it all wrong and it landed at the feet of Pedro Porro about 25 yards from goal.

You would expect Porro, who is decent from distance, to at least hit the target but he curled it over the bar.
