A last-gasp winner from David McGoldrick saw Barnsley come from 2-0 down to snatch a 3-2 victory against Burton.

Referee David Rock pointed to the spot after just two minutes when McGoldrick was adjudged to have brought down Brewers midfielder JJ McKiernan.

Jake Beesley calmly slotted his penalty past Murphy Cooper in the Barnsley goal to give Burton the lead.

Fabio Tavares doubled Burton's lead in the 35th minute after knocking the ball past Cooper, who had rushed out of his goal, and finishing into an empty net.

Caylan Vickers halved the deficit after 55 minutes thanks to a looping effort which found the top corner.

Davis Keillor-Dunn levelled in the 63rd minute, firing home from inside the area after Luca Connell's effort was parried straight to him by Burton goalkeeper Jordan Amissah.

McGoldrick then won the game for Barnsley in the third minute of stoppage time as he turned the ball home at the back post.
