Not for the first time this afternoon Ballymena United have goalkeeper Sean O'Neill to thank.

A quick attacking move from the home side sees Elliot Dunlop feed Fraser Bryden on the right hand side of the penalty area.

  11. Ballymena 'showing more intent'published at 16:10 BST 20 September

    Crusaders 0-1 Ballymena Utd

    David Jeffrey
Former Linfield & Ballymena manager on BBC iPlayer

Ballymena have come out with more intent right from the get-go in this second half.

They are looking much more focused and are pressing the ball higher. It was a piece of genius from Ben Kennedy to set up the goal and the Crusaders defence was caught sleeping.

All that hard work from the Crues in the first half and now they find themselves behind.

Joe Gormley drags Cliftonville back into it, latching onto a smart pass from Callum McCay.

Promising move from the hosts, though the finish doesn’t match the build-up.
