Conor Wilkinson’s double made it back-to-back wins for Solihull as they beat Rochdale 2-1 in the National League.

Solihull took the lead in the 26th minute through Wilkinson, who pounced on the ball following a mistake at the back and smashed it into the top corner.

The Moors nearly had a second minutes later when Bradley Stevenson’s effort was saved and Alex Whitmore went close when his header hit the side of the net.

Wilkinson earned his brace in the 59th minute after slotting the ball past goalkeeper David Robson and although Kairo Mitchell pulled one back in the 86th minute, Rochdale’s four-game winning run came to an end.
