Wake up call for the hosts as the Swifts look like a completely different side already on the restart.

  2. 'Malone makes Glenavon tick'published at 16:04 British Summer Time 17 August

    HT: Glenavon 0-1 Cliftonville

    Gary Haveron
    Radio Ulster summariser

Jack Malone is a very good player for them and he makes them tick so it's a big blow for Glenavon and for the lad personally. You could see he was on the gas and air and it's obviously a serious one. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Jim Magilton's Cliftonville lead at the break thanks to Joe Gormley's brilliant strike in the 16th minute.

It's been a disappointing first half, with both sides struggling in possession so far- let's hope for a big improvement in the second half.

  8. 'Linfield have been clinical'published at 16:01 British Summer Time 17 August

    HT: Linfield 3-0 Dungannon Swifts

    Gary Haveron
    Radio Ulster summariser

Dungannon have been well in the game, anytime you have watched they have passed and moved the ball really well, but Linfield have just been clinical and taking their chances.

  9. Watch: Gibson at the doublepublished at 15:58 British Summer Time 17 August

    HT: Loughgall 2-0 Carrick Rangers

Jordan Gibson again rises highest to score another header and give Loughgall a comfortable half-time lead.

  10. Postpublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 17 August

    Glenavon 0-1 Cliftonville

    Sean Ward
    BBC Sport NI pundit

The game has gone a little bit flat and both sets of players are probably hoping that the whistle just goes now.

  11. Postpublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 17 August

    Glenavon 0-1 Cliftonville

Matthew Snoddy makes an immediate impact, unleashing a long-range strike moments after entering the pitch.

However, his eagerness gets the better of him as he leans back, sending the ball sailing over the crossbar.

  12. 'Niall Currie will be very frustrated'published at 15:52 British Summer Time 17 August

    HT: Portadown 0-1 Glentoran

    Philip Major
    BBC Sport NI summariser

Portadown have created very little and I think Niall Currie will be very frustrated at that.

When you look at the three centre-backs that Glentoran have today James Singleton and Josh Kelly don't normally play in there, so they are not used to playing that position and they are either side of Frankie Hvid, who had a fairly disastrous debut for the Glens.

You'd really expect your front three to put them under more pressure and they haven't really had opportunities.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 17 August

    Glenavon 0-1 Cliftonville

Mourneview Park rises to applaud Jack Malone as he's stretchered off, a touching show of respect from both sets of fans.

Matthew Snoddy replaces the injured midfielder, tasked with filling the void.

  14. Watch: Shields strikes a third for Bluespublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 17 August

    Linfield 3-0 Dungannon Swifts

Chris Shields adds a third for Linfield with a deflected strike from outside the box.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 17 August

    Portadown 0-1 Glentoran

It has been all Portadown in the first half, but possession alone does not win games and Glentoran have comfortably absorbed anything that has been thrown at them and are happy to play on the counter-attack.

Jordan Jenkins' early goal remains the difference between the sides at the break.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 17 August

    Loughgall 2-0 Carrick Rangers

When you're watching the highlights, I promise it's not the same goal twice but a pair of Jordan Gibson headers have the hosts ahead at the break.

A disjointed Carrick will need to improve massively in the second half.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 17 August

    Linfield 3-0 Dungannon Swifts

Three goals in eight minutes has Linfield 3-0 at the break and very much in the asendancy.

Joel Cooper opened the scoring for the Blues just before the half hour mark, with Kyle McClean volleying home the second before Chris Shields added their third.

David Healy will be delighted at the break, with lots of work to do for Rodney McAree in the dressing room at half-time.

  18. INJURY TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 17 August

    Glenavon 0-1 Cliftonville

Four minutes of additional time will be played, but this could be extended as a stretcher is called for the injured Jack Malone.

The concern is etched on the faces of his teammates and the Glenavon bench as it becomes clear that Malone's condition is serious.

  19. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 17 August

    Glenavon 0-1 Cliftonville

Play halts as Jack Malone receives treatment, allowing both teams a moment to regroup.

It's been a disjointed first half, with neither side able to seize control.

Let's hope for a significant improvement after the restart.

  20. goal

GOAL Loughgall 2-0 Carrick Rangerspublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 17 August

    Jordan Gibson - 45mins

Once was bad enough but to not mark Jordan Gibson twice is absolutely criminal and completely out of character from Carrick. It is almost a carbon copy as the man his team-mates call 'Yaya' nods home unmarked from six yards.
