  1. Schmeichel & Sinisalo to share load, Rodgers revealspublished at 14:44 British Summer Time 10 May

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland: "[Kasper Schmeichel] has come through really well. [Viljami Sinisalo] has done fantastic. He's been excellent, he'll play Wednesday away at Aberdeen.

"Kasper will play today and next week against St Mirren, it's great to have him back."

On Nicolas Kuhn also returning, Rodgers adds: "His speed and goal threat is really important."

And on today's game, he says: "We want to play well and perform well. We're chasing a record of goals here. We'd like to beat that and it's a nice little incentive for us."

  2. Cowie counts on County team spiritpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 10 May

St Johnstone v Ross County (15:00)

Ross County manager Don Cowie tells Sportsound: "The season's coming to an end so there's very little margin for error.

"The focus has to be trying to pick up nine points in the last three games - we have to believe we can do it.

"You'd rather be in better form than we are right now. The cornerstone of this club is togetherness.

"Sometimes it might not be quality that gets you the result. It's making sure you're in the game and giving yourself a chance.

"Actions speak louder than words and the time is now. We know what's at stake and we have to embrace that."

  3. 'Win is only option' for St Johnstonepublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 10 May

St Johnstone v Ross County (15:00)

St Johnstone manager Simo Valakari tells BBC Scotland: "There is no other option than to win today.

"We need to play well, do all the things right on the field. It is now last chance, but the preparation has been what we have been doing.

"We are here in this situation, now we need to go.

"[Desire] is almost the biggest part of football. You cannot substitute it, it must always be there. When you can combine that with the footballing side of it, then comes the game like we played against Celtic.

"It's not a secret formula. Both teams have their own pressure and we have to be ready."

  4. Celtic host Hibs once againpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 10 May

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

This is Hibs' fourth visit to Celtic Park this season, having been dumped out of both cups in the east end of Glasgow.

The last league match in these parts ended in a 3-0 home win, but the scoreline doesn't really tell the story since the visitors spurned a host of good chances.

After that 7 December meeting, the length of the table separated the sides, now Hibs sit third, having lost just once in 19 league outings and taking more points than any other side in the division in that time.

  5. Can Killie keep themselves safe?published at 14:35 British Summer Time 10 May

    Kilmarnock v Dundee (15:00)

Kilmarnock have picked a good time to get points on the board, winning three of their past four in the league.

Another victory today would see them safe and, after beating the bottom two, they are chasing three successive victories in a single top flight campaign for the first time since October 2020.

Dundee have gone five games without a win at Rugby Park and only have one win in 13 against Killie in the Premiership.

For those looking at patterns, the Dark Blues have alternated between winning and losing their past six league matches - and lost last weekend.

  6. Saints seek home hat-trick against Countypublished at 14:33 British Summer Time 10 May

St Johnstone v Ross County (15:00)

St Johnstone have lost three in a row, while Ross County have lost six on the bounce, so maybe we shouldn't expect too much free-flowing football.

County's big problem is scoring, Saints' have had difficulties at the back, with several defenders missing through injury.

Thanks to the vagaries of the split, this is a third successive visit to McDiarmid Park for County, who lost both previous trips and have gone six games without a win against the Perth men.

  7. So much for weakened champions...published at 14:30 British Summer Time 10 May

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

Hibs fans might have been hoping to see a few more fringe players in the Celtic line-up after Brendan Rodgers' talk of resting legs for the Scottish Cup final.

With Nicolas Kuhn and Kasper Schmeichel coming in, that home line-up is arguably stronger than the team that started the Old Firm draw at Ibrox.

  8. Same again for Killie, Dundee change twopublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 10 May

    Kilmarnock v Dundee (15:00)

Derek McInnes names an unchanged starting XI to the one that beat St Johnstone comfortably last weekend.

Meanwhile, Dundee swap two from the loss to Motherwell. Seb Palmer-Houlden comes in up top to replace Oluwaseun Adewumi, partnering Simon Murray.

At the back, Aaron Donnelly starts in place of Clark Robertson. It looks like a three at the back, the formation Tony Docherty has stuck with most of the season, but it could be a four with Antonio Portales in holding midfield.

  9. Middleton starts for United, double change for St Mirrenpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 10 May

Dundee United v St Mirren (15:00)

Kevin Trapanovski and Glenn Middleton are the two changes for Jim Goodwin's Dundee United side from the 3-1 defeat to Hibs.

David Babunski and Jort Van der Sande are the pair to make way.

Stephen Robinson has also made two changes from the 1-0 victory over Aberdeen.

Mark O'Hara misses out through injury while Oisin Smyth drops to the bench. Roland Idowu and Caolan Boyd-Munce come in.

  10. Three changes for Saints, four for Countypublished at 14:23 British Summer Time 10 May

St Johnstone v Ross County (15:00)

St Johnstone boss Simo Valakari has made three changes for this must-win match.

Sam Curtis replaces Graham Carey at right wing-back, Jason Holt starts in midfield with Victor Griffith dropping to the bench and Adama Sidibeh is preferred to Makenzie Kirk up top.

The visitors also shuffle their pack as manager Don Cowie brings Will Nightingale, Kacper Lopata, Josh Nisbet and Kieran Phillips into his side.

James Brown, Jonathan Tomkinson, Nohan Kenneh and Jordan White drop out.

  11. Fulton in Hearts' goal, Maswanhise in for Wellpublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 10 May

    Hearts v Motherwell (15:00)

Goalkeeper Ryan Fulton makes his Hearts debut because Craig Gordon is injured and Zander Clark has also been struggling, though he does take his place on the bench.

Cammy Devlin for Blair Spittal, who misses out altogether, is the other change from the win over Ross County.

Motherwell also make two changes. Steve Seddon starts for the first time since December in place of Jonny Koutroumbis, while matchwinner against Dundee Tawanda Maswanhise comes in for Harry Paton.

  12. Schmeichel back for Celtic, Campbell in for Hibspublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 10 May

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

The big news for Celtic is goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel returns from a shoulder injury.

Auston Trusty comes into the defence following last Sunday's 1-1 draw at Rangers, with winger Nicolas Kuhn back in the attack.

Cameron Carter-Vickers is rested, while James Forrest and keeper Viljami Sinisalo drop to the bench.

As for Hibs, it's just one switch after their 3-1 win over Dundee United last weekend as Josh Campbell comes in for Junior Hoilett in midfield.
