James: Have you never heard of cheese and pickle sandwiches before?! I am sceptical of some Northern cuisine but that one is a staple!

I've definitely heard of them James. In fact I'm quite partial. But it's just a questionable choice on a warm day I would say.

Could be worse, to be fair. They could be jam sandwiches.

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Millwall

    Crystal Palace

More from Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish, speaking to BBC One about Liam Roberts' red card: "They're professionals and they have to treat each other like professionals and have a duty of care for your fellow professionals.

"That keeper has not had one [duty of care].

"Credit to the players carrying on and it is difficult for me to think about anything else with JP in hospital.

"In all the time I've watched football, someone mentioned there was one like it in the World Cup in 1982.

"Why the referee [Michael Oliver] needed to go to the screen I have got no idea.

"He's a human being, forget he's a football player - it is not a normal challenge.

"We want to progress, but it is difficult for me to look past that challenge."

    Ooooh. Good save.

Freddie Woodman hasn't had much to do in the Preston goal but Zian Flemming forces him into a good save with a decent right-footed effort which Woodman tips over the bar.

  11. 'Endangering a fellow professional' - Parishpublished at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Crystal Palace 2-1 Millwall

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish, speaking to BBC One about Liam Roberts' red card: "So far, what we know is he [Jean-Philippe Mateta] has a bad gash behind his ear. He's obviously at the hospital.

"There's a lot of emotion football, but we have to talk about that challenge.

"In all the time I've watched football I've not seen a challenge like it. I looked to see how old the keeper [Liam Roberts] was and he's 30-years-old.

"He needs to have a long hard look at himself that lad, he's endangering a fellow professional and maybe his life.

"It is difficult for me to talk about the rest of the game if you're worried about JP [Jean-Philippe Mateta] - it is a terrible challenge."

All of a sudden, there are some real jitters in the Palace defence.

A chance for Femi Azeez which is just about cleared.

This looks a lost cause now for Burnley.

Boss Scott Parker has made a couple of changes before the hour mark but they don't look like getting back into this one at the moment.

Goalkeeper Freddie Woodman has had a very comfortable afternoon in the Preston goal, he could have brought his lunchtime cheese and pickle sandwiches along with him.

  16. Postpublished at 13:34 Greenwich Mean Time

    Preston 2-0 Burnley

One thing to say about Burnley is that while their defensive record, prior to today, has been almost immaculate, they don't score many goals either.

Many of the games on their unbeaten streak have been 0-0 or 1-1 draws or narrow 1-0 wins.

  19. 'What a moment'published at 13:32 Greenwich Mean Time

    Preston 2-0 Burnley

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC iPlayer

What a moment in the game, that could have been it right there. When it came to the shot, Kaine Kesler-Hayden just went for power instead of precision.

You can see the frustration, that was the finishing of a defender.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:31 Greenwich Mean Time

    Preston 2-0 Burnley

Triple change for Scott Parker who is clearly not happy with what he's seeing.

Manuel Benson, Jonjo Shelvey and Luca Koleosho make way for Josh Laurent, Zian Flemming and Ashley Barnes.
