The only previous Football League season in which Stevenage and Charlton met was 2011-12 in League One, when Stevenage won 1-0 at home and lost 2-0 away.
The last competitive meeting between Stevenage and Charlton was in the League Cup third round in November 2022, a 1-1 draw which Charlton went on to win 5-4 on penalties. The Addicks are unbeaten in their last three meetings with the Boro in all competitions (W2 D1), including an 8-0 EFL Trophy win in October 2018.
Stevenage have only lost one of their last 10 league matches (W7 D2), while they have kept seven clean sheets during this run of fixtures (only five goals conceded).
After their win against Fleetwood last time out, which ended a run of four straight league defeats, Charlton will be looking for consecutive victories in League One for the first time since March.
