Arsenal: Arteta hits back at 'dark arts' claim

Arsenal come into this game on the back of an entertaining game against another Manchester team, in Manchester City.

The Gunners with 10 men defended for the majority of the second half before conceding an injury-time equaliser for 2-2.

Afterwards they were criticised in some parts for 'dark arts'.

"We had to play the game that we had to play," said Arteta.

"Unfortunately we've been in the same situation. We were in that same situation with Granit [Xhaka] when we lost 5-0 [in 2021]. So we'd better learn. If not I would be very thick.

"Let's see who's available tomorrow [against Bolton] and then we can talk about dark arts or these things.

"Unfortunately, yes, there will be a few players not available."

Goalkeeper David Raya is one of the players injured today.
