Nicole Kozlova already has six goals to her name this season
Glasgow City made it five wins from five games in the new SWPL season, and put five goals past a Hearts side that were expected to run them far closer.
Leanne Ross' side were 3-0 up at half-time thanks to goals from Natalia Wrobel, Abi Harrison and Nicole Kozlova, cutting Hearts to shreds at Petershill.
Kozlova added a fourth just before the hour, before Sofia Maatta poked in a fifth from close range.
Jenna Slattery did get one back for Hearts, beating Lee Gibson at her front post, but it was only a mild consolation.
It's the heaviest defeat Hearts have suffered since April 2024, and while City didn't lose to Hearts last season, the games were generally far closer.
