    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

Melvine Malard rolls a dangerous ball through the Villa six yard box but no one in red can get on the end of it before Anna Patten hooks it away.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:31 GMT

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

Another break in play as Villa's Kirsty Hanson requires treatment on her head or stomach (she's holding both) after colliding with Julia Zigiotti Olme when trying to reach United's latest corner.

With Hanson ok to continue, Villa then make a change soon after with Sara Mayling coming on for Chasity Grant.

That is exactly the reason you bring on a player like Olivia Smith. She's only been on a few minutes and you can see the impact, and the fans are right behind her.

They have to pounce on those opportunities and have bodies in there. A lot better from Arsenal.

The injustice of the disallowed goal seems to have fuelled a fire inside the Emirates.

Stina Blackstenius, who was adjuged to have handled before the equaliser, has just gone close again after being found by Olivia Smith in the middle.

The Swede's effort was eventually cleared though after a goalmouth scramble.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:27 GMT

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

Another United change sees Julia Zigiotti Olme replace Lisa Naalsund in the middle.

Natalia Arroyo also makes her first change for Villa, bringing on club captain Rachel Daly for youngster Georgia Mullett up top.

That is a nasty challenge from Victoria Pelova on Keira Walsh.

If VAR was in the WSL then this game may be 1-1 but Arsenal may also be down to 10 players.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:26 GMT

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

Arsenal midfielder Victoria Pelova is the first player in the book this afternoon for a hefty challenge on opposite number Keira Walsh that leaves the Lionesses vice captain wincing and puffing out her cheeks.

That effort from Toone was United first shot on target in this game. We're over 64 minutes in.

  9. CLOSE!published at 13:24 GMT

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

So close to the equaliser for the hosts!

After a session of pinball in the Aston Villa penalty area the ball falls to Ella Toone, who has already had seven goal contributions this season.

She is denied by a super last-ditch block from Anna Patten though as the visitors escape.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:23 GMT

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

The first one million pound player in women's football, Olivia Smith, is on for Arsenal.

She takes the place of Beth Mead, while Taylor Hinds also replaces Katie McCabe.

Chelsea also make a change, bringing on Ellie Carpenter for Lucy Bronze at right back.

That’s really poor. There should be VAR if the FA want the WSL as a competitive competition.

    Stu - Southampton

Do we really want to get into the complexities of a game with VAR though, Stu?

Well with no VAR in the Women's Super League we have to go with the decisions of the officials on the field.

I do tend to agree with my colleague Charlotte though, not sure how the referee can be 100% certain it was handball from where she was standing.

If that Stina Blacksentius goal was ruled out for handball, then I think referee Melissa Burgin has made a bit of a clanger there.

It's a difficult one. It looks like it does touch her hand and but there was no intention behind it.

That's a bold decision from Skinner to take off top scorer Elisabeth Terland. She has struggled to get into the game mind.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:19 GMT

    Manchester United 0-1 Aston Villa

In the midst of all that chaos at the Emirates, Manchester United boss Marc Skinner made atriple change not even ten minutes into the second half.

On: Leah Galton, Anna Sandberg and Melvine Malard

Off: Elisabeth Terland, Gabby George, Fridolina Rolfo

OK so after some replays we can confirm that the Arsenal equaliser was chalked off because of a handball by the goalscorer Stina Blackstenius.

That feels very harsh to me. The replays aren't entirely conclusive.

The crowd are not happy with that and Renee Slegers wasn't either.

It's got a little bit out of hand at the moment.

Boos around the Emirates as confusion hits as to why that Arsenal goal was ruled out.

Now Katie McCabe goes in the book for chopping down Lucy Bronze.

    It's getting tasty out here!

  20. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 13:16 GMT

    Arsenal 0-1 Chelsea

Hang on a minute. It's been ruled out!

I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure why just yet. But nevertheless, Chelsea keep their lead.
