    Loughgall 0-0 Glenavon

Glenavon captain Niall Quinn whips in a great corner that is met by the head of James Carroll.

The ball lands at the feet of David McDaid who does well to make the space in a packed box to get the shot away but it’s well saved by Nathan Gartside.

The ball stays in play and is played back into the box by Quinn but the ref calls for a free for a foul on Gartside.

    Paul Leeman
Former Glentoran captain on BBC iPlayer

Larne haven't played well in this game but we saw the quality there when they broke through. Three quick passes and they were bearing down on the Glentoran goal. Glentoran will be so disappointed because I have been really impressed with the start they have made to this game but they find themselves a goal behind.

The opening quarter of an hour has been played almost exclusively in the Larne half with the visitors struggling to get across the halfway line.

For all that pressure, though, Glentoran have only forced that one real chance from Paddy McClean's header.

They [Larne] do look like a team that are off their levels and Glentoran have certainly been the better team so far in this game.

That was a good opportunity for Glentoran.

It was a better ball into the box from Thorndike. His first couple of corners were poor but that one was a really good delivery and Paddy McClean gets a yard on his marker, gets good contact on the header and it's a decent save from Ferguson.
