First-half goals by Hannah Stewart and Emily Kraft gave Aberdeen victory over hosts Queen's Park in the SWPL.

Ami Robertson was denied at close range by Dons goalkeeper Megan Sidey early on.

The visitors went straight up the park following that scare and captain Stewart slotted her attempt wide.

But Stewart scored with her next effort, lobbing her marker before lifting the ball over Lauren McGregor, who could not keep it out.

Jordan McLintock's excellent tackle prevented Kraft getting in for a second Aberdeen goal and, from the corner, a clearance ricocheted off a body on to the left-hand post.

Kraft did add her name to the scoresheet with a volley following another corner.

Queen's Park substitute Charlize McFadyen threatened twice in the second half, including an effort off the crossbar, and Lia Tweedie tested Sidey and had an effort cleared off the line. At the other end, Johan Fraser drew a fine save from McGregor.
