After losing their first two matches against Walsall in the top four tiers of English football, Accrington Stanley have won each of their last two – with the most recent a 2-1 win in April 2019 in League One.
Both of Walsall’s two previous league visits to Accrington Stanley have ended in a 2-1 scoreline, with both sides winning one each.
Since enjoying a four-game winning run in League Two in October, Accrington Stanley have won just one of seven games (D2 L4), a 2-0 home win over Wrexham in November.
Walsall have won their last two league games and Mat Sadler’s Saddlers are looking to win three consecutive games for the first time since December 2022, when Michael Flynn was manager.
