Having lost manager Colin Bell earlier this week, they were led by interim boss Stuart Glennie.
Niamh Noble opened the scoring for the Dons to grab her first goal for the north-east club.
Emily Kraft also celebrated her first Dons goal as she made it 2-0 in the second half.
Montrose could not find a response and remain without a point on the board.
