After winning four in a row against Walsall across all competitions between November 2019 and May 2022, Swindon Town have since failed to win any of their last three against the Robins (D1 L2).
Walsall have scored in seven of their last eight visits to the County Ground - their one blank during this period was a 5-0 defeat in February 2022, which was also their joint-heaviest league defeat to Swindon.
Swindon’s Jake Young already has nine goals and three assists in six league games this season; the last League Two player to reach 10 goals in their first seven appearances of a campaign was Paul Mullin in 2020-21 (11 goals in seven games).
Walsall have won each of their last two league games, and could win three in a row for the first time since Boxing Day 2022, with their third win on that occasion coming away to Swindon.
