Andy Tod, 19, scored a hat-trick for five-goal Dunfermline

Teenage striker Andy Tod scored a Scottish Championship hat-trick as five-goal Dunfermline Athletic thrashed Arbroath.

The 19-year-old netted a 20th-minute opener before adding a second in first-half stoppage time at Gayfield.

The young forward completed his treble just before the hour mark, with Zak Rudden and Rory MacLeod adding the fourth and fifth.

The win moves Neil Lennon's Dunfermline to within two points of fourth-placed Arbroath.
