Cambridge United scored in the first minute of both halves as they coasted to a 4-1 victory over League One relegation rivals Shrewsbury Town.
Shayne Lavery set the U's on their way when Elias Kachunga ran clear on the right and his cross was spilled by goalkeeper Toby Savin, allowing Lavery to fire home.
The lead was doubled on the half hour when Dan Nlundulu led a quick break before feeding Lavery, who had time to shoot beyond Savin.
History repeated itself when another Cambridge goal came in the opening minute of the second half, when Shrewsbury failed to deal with Kell Watts' cross, leaving Nlundulu with the simple task of netting from close range.
Kachunga added a fourth in the 53rd minute, as the impressive Nlundulu crossed from the left and Watts nodded it on to Kachunga to head home.
Shrewsbury got a goal back 20 minutes from the end when goalkeeper Vicente Reyes flattened George Lloyd, allowing John Marquis to blast home from the penalty spot - but former Cambridge player Gareth Ainsworth's side are now eight points adrift of safety, five behind the 22nd-placed U's.
