Sarah Clelland pulled one back for Spartans as they trailed by two goals

Spartans came from behind to beat Montrose 3-2 at Ainslie Park and secure a vital three points in the race for survival.

A Sarah Clelland own goal gave Montrose the advantage after 16 minutes before Sophie Martin grabbed a second well before the break.

Clelland made up for her mistake and pulled one back for the hosts just before half-time.

Late goals from Zara Andrews and Hannah Jordan bagged all three points for Jack Beesley's side.

The victory moved Spartans six points clear of Montrose in the relegation spots and 19 clear of bottom side Dundee United.
