We've already seen Bradford secure a derby victory over Huddersfield in fascinating fashion, what else lies in store across League One and Two?

    Time to find out.

  2. High-flying Gills aim to conquer in-form Notts Countypublished at 14:57 BST 13 September

Gillingham v Notts County (15:00 BST)

It's been a flying start to the season for Gillingham. They sit top of the table with an unbeaten start from their opening seven games.

The Gills haven't lost a league match in since 4 March when Newport picked up a 3-1 victory.

Notts County have found some form to remain unbeaten in their past four league games, following a rough opening three games without a win.

County have won both their previous league visits on the road against Gillingham, just one fewer than their first 15 games against them in the Football League beforehand (W3 D2 L10).

  3. Wigan clash brings mixed memories for Rovers boss McCannpublished at 14:53 BST 13 September

    Wigan v Doncaster (15:00 BST)

Wigan’s DW Stadium witnessed one of the lowest points in Grant McCann’s managerial career, but the Doncaster boss should be feeling optimistic as he brings his in-form team across the Pennines this afternoon.

McCann was in charge of the Hull City side that endured an 8-0 walloping at Wigan five years ago – a record defeat for the Championship as the Tigers hurtled into the third tier.

However, McCann’s men turned it around the following year, winning 5-0 at Wigan en route to promotion – and Doncaster seem to be on a similar trajectory after surging back to League One last season.

Rovers started the day in second place, having won five of their seven games so far, including the last three, and also stunned Middlesbrough with a 4-0 Carabao Cup triumph at the Riverside Stadium last month.

With all that said, history favours the home side – Wigan have won all of their last six league encounters with Doncaster and have yet to taste defeat against them since leaving Springfield Park for the DW Stadium at the end of the 20th century.

The Latics, who finished 15th in the table last season, have made a solid start and are unbeaten at home so far following victories against Northampton and Peterborough and a 1-1 draw with Stockport.

  4. Cardiff have 'belief' to continue fine startpublished at 14:51 BST 13 September

    Stockport v Cardiff (15:00 BST)

Cardiff defender Dylan Lawlor on his great start to the season for club and country.

Cardiff City have taken life in League One by the horns over their opening six matches to lead the league - but today's hosts have a point to prove.

Stockport County are hoping to put in another promotion-contending run this season after reaching the play-offs in May but it's been a real mixed bag so far. Each of their two wins have been followed by a draw and then a loss to see them meandering five points below the Bluebirds.

If they are to keep their noses in front on the winning tally, Stockport will need to defeat a Cardiff side that has so far gone unbeaten (W5 D1) and are in the mood for some league domination.

"We've got the belief that we can go get promoted again and go and absolutely batter the league," Bluebirds defender Dylan Lawlor told BBC Sport Wales.

"I think that's the change of mindset that Brian has brought in is a belief like 'why can't we just go and annihilate the league and go and get promoted?', because why not?

"We've got the quality in the room, we know that, so it's about having that belief and going and producing performances to do it."

  5. Facing Plymouth a 'stern test' for Lutonpublished at 14:48 BST 13 September

    Luton v Plymouth (15:00 BST)

    Media caption,

Luton Town manager Matt Bloomfield on Nakamba, injuries and facing Plymouth.

Plymouth didn't get off to the best start in League One.

They suffered four successive defeats before finding their first win against Blackpool but then lost again against Cardiff City the following game.

But last time out saw the Pilgrims pull off a mammoth 4-2 victory over promotion contenders Stockport and they will be hoping the international break hasn't killed off their momentum as they prepare to face off against fellow relegated side Luton Town.

The Hatters have won four of their six league games and are looking for an immediate bounce back to the Championship - but even with Argyle's slow start, Luton boss Matt Bloomfield isn't taking the challenge of facing them lightly.

"They've integrated a lot of new players, but they beat Stockport last weekend, and we know Stockport are a very strong team in this league and so it's going to be a very stern test for us," Bloomfield told BBC Radio 3CR.

"They've got some real good players, and we have to be ready."

    Accrington 1-0 Colchester

Isaac Sinclair's goal earns Accrington Stanley their first win of the season, moving them off the foot of the table and out of the relegation zone.

Owura Edwards' red card was the killer blow for Colchester, this loss extends their winless run to five games.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:30 BST 13 September

    Bradford 3-1 Huddersfield

Huddersfield pulled one back in the second-half after a confusing corner allowed new Aston Villa loanee Zepiqueno Redmond to score on his debut.

But it was not enough and Bradford's trio of first-half goals preserves their astounding unbeaten home record.

Not seen a defeat at Valley Parade since March, remember.

It also puts them top of the table at the time of writing.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:28 BST 13 September

    Crawley 2-0 Cheltenham

Harry McKirdy's second-half double secures three points for Crawley - and back-to-back wins.

Josh Martin might have salvaged a consolation goal for Cheltenham during the nine minutes of added time, but was denied again by Red Devils keeper Harvey Davies.

  11. Postpublished at 14:27 BST 13 September

    Bradford 3-1 Huddersfield

The crowd get excited when they see Andy Cook powering up the left flank on his lonesome.

He's held up by a Huddersfield defender though and can't make his return an emphatic one.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:26 BST 13 September

    Bradford 3-1 Huddersfield

Andy Cook is brought on to make his return from injury to see the game out for Bradford City.

He replaces goal scorer Bobby Pointon, while defender Ciaran Kelly comes on for striker Antoni Sarcevic to add some defensive support.

  13. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:26 BST 13 September

    Northampton 1-0 Blackpool

Cameron McGeehan's late winner is enough to seal Northampton's third successive win!

One win in Blackpool's first seven games, by contrast and there are some chants of 'sacked in the morning' directed at visiting boss Steve Bruce.

  14. Postpublished at 14:23 BST 13 September

    Bradford 3-1 Huddersfield

There's been six minutes added to the clock.

Bradford got two goals with less. Can Huddersfield repeat the feat?

  15. Postpublished at 14:22 BST 13 September

    Northampton 1-0 Blackpool

A minimum four minutes to be added on, with Northampton closing in on their third straight victory...

They're not quite there yet as Blackpool build down the right again and Danny Imray's low effort is blocked on the line by a combination of Lee Burge and Jack Burroughs.

  16. RED CARD: Owura Edwards (Colchester)published at 14:20 BST 13 September

    Accrington 1-0 Colchester

That might just end Colchester's chance of getting anything from this game.

Owura Edwards receives a red card for a high boot on Oliver Wright as he stretches to get his foot on the ball.

  17. Postpublished at 14:20 BST 13 September

    Bradford 3-1 Huddersfield

Bradford's Josh Neufville takes aim from outside the box but his shot goes flying above the bar.

Boss Graham Alexander will just be happy to see the back of that little spell of Huddersfield attack.

  18. Postpublished at 14:18 BST 13 September

    Northampton 1-0 Blackpool

Ashley Fletcher found the net last time Blackpool were at Sixfields - and he should at least have hit the target this time.

Fellow substitute Scott Banks does the groundwork and cuts the ball back from the right, but Fletcher scoops the chance over the bar.

Time running out for Blackpool to prevent a fourth straight defeat on the road...

  19. Postpublished at 14:17 BST 13 September

    Bradford 3-1 Huddersfield

A late surge from the Huddersfield substitutes?

The visitors win the ball and it gives Alfie May a chance to curl a strike at goal.

It's not enough to threaten Bantams keeper Sam Walker though as he tucks it into his chest.

  20. Postpublished at 14:13 BST 13 September

    Accrington 1-0 Colchester

Colchester are pushing for an equaliser in the closing stages of the match.

Williams strikes from long-range but sees his effort go over the bar.
