Never a penalty for London City. Nikita Parris' boot is high and the only contact is Parris catching the keeper on the hip with a high challenge. If anything, it's a red card for Parris! Awful decision.

    Gordon

I get your point Gordon, but I'd argue it was more of a coming together and could have gone either way, though as I said, rushing out as a keeper in those situations is always a high risk manoeuvre.

Liverpool need to make sure they stay in the league and win games, and so far that's been hard to come by for them.

Time is fast running out for Liverpool, who don't seem to have any answers. In truth they've not had many answers all afternoon.

    Leicester 1-1 Everton

Perhaps one last roll of the dice for Everton as Nicole Momiki flings a hopeful ball into the box.

Leicester are wise to it though, and get it clear before anyone in that weird off yellow Everton shirt can turn it goalwards.

Brighton have three minutes of stoppage time to grab something from this match.

Shocking decision in the London City - Liverpool game. Never a pen. Keeper misses ball and striker. Parris kicks keeper and falls over. VAR would've overturned.

    Vt.Simpson - Leeds

I don't know Vt, when a keeper rushes out and doesn't take the ball but connects with a forward, they always run the risk of giving away a spot kick.

    Leicester 1-1 Everton

Into injury time at King Power Stadium too.

Can either of these sides nick a winner?

Wow, that was a heart in mouth moment. When you hear and see the ball hit that crossbar as a player you are willing the ball to fall into the net.

High risk, sometimes means high reward.

GOAL - London City Lionesses 1-0 Liverpoolpublished at 13:40 BST

    Elena Linari (89 mins)

Full back Elena Linari takes a deep breath before stepping forward and smashing her spot kick down off the crossbar.

Nothing Rafaela Borggrafe can do about that. London City finally have their lead.

    London City Lionesses 0-0 Liverpool

The question is, who's going to take it?

Skipper and normal taker Kosovare Asllani and record signing Grace Geyoro came off a few minutes ago, and it looks like defender Elena Linari has taken the responsibility.

  18. PENALTY LONDON CITY LIONESSESpublished at 13:39 BST

Nikita Parris shows tenacity to chase down a loose ball over the top and she gets there before Reds keeper Rafaela Borggrafe before being completely taken out.
