In all my years of following football, I honestly don't know if I've ever seen the likes.

For a good ten minutes of half-time, Tash Flint was out with a zippy on and running the half way line back and forth at a consistent pace. Like a very steady warm-up... but she played the first half.

    Awfy odd.

Mairead Fulton's gone down after a collision with Natalie Ross and City have a free-kick just inside the Celtic half.

Wouldn't fancy being in that City changing room at half-time, I'm sure Leanne Ross will have some stern words for her side.

Rangers head coach Jo Potter tells BBC Alba: "You saw the last result against [Hearts], it didn't go our way.

"We need to take positives from the weekend, not just the result, but the performance.

"It was massive because we're in another cup final. You want to win trophies at this club. That's big for us.

"It's always nice to beat your rivals, and like I keep saying, I think we beat them comfortably.

"We've had big players missing all season, we've not had a full strength squad from the start."

We've got a big game unfolding in Airdrie, but title challengers Rangers are getting set for their meeting with Hearts later on.

Let's hear from the home camp...

  10. What you doing up there?published at 19:02 British Summer Time 1 May

We all aware Caitlin Hayes is a defender, eh?

Is Caitlin Hayes aware Caitlin Hayes is a defender?

She has no right to be up there in open play for that second goal, but time and time again, she's posing a threat in the opposition box.

    Big game player, no doubt.

  11. HALF-TIME Celtic 2-1 Glasgow Citypublished at 19:00 British Summer Time 1 May

Well it certainly won't have been the start Elena Sadiku was after from her side, particularly at home, but she certainly can't fault her players' response.

From one down to two up in the first half is a terrific showing for the league leaders.

But there's still 45 minutes to play and if there's one thing we know about Glasgow City, they won't go down without a fight.

Wow. I’m sure Leanne Ross will have something to say post-match about that goal given Lauren Davidson was long down before it.

It appeared a few times that Celtic were going to knock it out to allow for treatment, but, not to be.

    It's Caitlin Hayes there again.

What a terrific header. Great cross from Natasha Flint, too.

Looks like Lauren Davidson could be in a wee bit of bother, she's currently down getting some treatment to her ankle.

    She does it again!

It's a great header from the Celtic centre-back who nestles it neatly into the back of the net, leaving Lee Gibson rooted to the spot.

Things have certainly settled down now, think both sides will probably be happy to see this one out until half-time.

Lucy Ashworth-Clifford's cross is cut out by Meikayla Moore as Celtic chase a second.

Murphy Agnew then tries to rush on to Caitlin Hayes' long ball but there's just a wee bit too much on it for the Celtic attacker.

Seems to have steadied a wee bit here after a fairly frantic start.

What’s not so steady though, is the crowd. Really poor turnout yet again.

It’s a hot topic just now, but for valid reasons. Reckon it’s one that’ll continue for a while, too.
