BBC Sport football news reporter at the City GroundSean Dyche is beaming on page seven of the Nottingham Forest programme this evening.
In his notes the new manager writes about how humbled he is by the welcome messages he and his staff have received after being appointed on Tuesday.
He touches on the honour of taking charge of a club he was an apprentice and a young professional at, before leaving for Chesterfield in 1990, and unlocking the potential of the squad.
So far, Dyche has said all the right things but words will not mean anything unless he gets Forest winning again.

If Villa think this is a walk in the park they’d better have a re-think at half time. Far too casual and the ‘squad players’ just not up to the task. Emery will ring the changes.

Watkins was on fire 2 seasons ago, he now looks like a Championship player. He needs to sort it out fast, Villa are not good enough to carry him.

Given the up and down season we’ve had so far I was nervous that despite all the possession and shots Villa have had we were not going to put this game to bed.
