1. 'Genk look more comfortable'published at 20:59 BST

    HT: Rangers 0-0 Genk

    Andy Halliday
Former Rangers midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Genk look like the more comfortable side.

Outside the John Souttar header, Rangers haven't looked like scoring.

A fast start was imperative, and they didn't do that.

  2. HALF-TIME Rangers 0-0 Genkpublished at 45+8 mins

    Lots of drama. No goals.

    A red card for Rangers.

    Jack Butland saves Genk penalty.

Rangers denied a penalty after a review.

An amazing goal-line clearance, a shot off the post and a few sitters missed.

  3. 'Poor penalty'published at 20:54 BST

    Rangers 0-0 Genk

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers & Scotland striker on Sportsound

    It was a poor penalty.

He went for power but didn't get any angle on it and it was a great height for Jack Butland.

What's going on? Another penalty check? No a VAR check for something is over.

Diomande's done this before. Brilliant player on his day but unreliable. Time to let him go.

    Alan

Diomande is a complete bombscare, he's reckless, and very lazy, and at times as bad as a man short.

  10. Lonely night for Chermitipublished at 20:46 BST

If Youssef Chermiti was isolated before, deary me.

    Get Involvedpublished at 20:45 BST

Not a matter if Genk will score but when. Chermiti is twiddling his thumbs as he's had no service, he's running around with nothing to do. We are bad, slack passing and slow.

    Baz

Too many backwards and sideways passes. Get the ball forward quickly. Yet to see Mickey Moore take on his full back and he is drifting inside frequently. Chermiti is invisible.

Martin desperately needs to sort out Meghoma immediately. His positioning is all over the place and could have cost Rangers two goals already.

Uh-oh. A wild challenge from Mohamed Diomande near the halfway line.

He goes over the ball and catches Zakaria El Ouahdi high on the shin.

Rangers are down to 10 men.

  15. NO PENALTYpublished at 37 mins

    Rangers 0-0 Genk

Well, well. A free-kick to Genk is the final outcome.

We've seen a few of those given in the Scottish Premiership over the past few weeks.

  16. 'Probably going to give it'published at 20:37 BST

    Rangers 0-0 Genk

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

It's not a handball but he's probably going to give it.

He's jumped for the ball but his arm is out because he's going back the way.

There is no way on this earth this is anything like deliberate.

  17. Postpublished at 20:36 BST

The Slovenian referee is off to look at the monitor.

I don't think there's a shove but the Genk player has no idea what's going on since the ball was behind him.
