This will be the first Football League meeting between Mansfield Town and Wrexham since April 2008, when the Stags won 2-1.
Wrexham have won just one of their last 12 Football League visits to Mansfield (D5 L6), a 4-3 win in March 1984. These games spanned from 1964 to 2008.
Mansfield have won three of their opening four home games in League Two this season (D1), last winning as many as four of their first five at home in a Football League campaign in 2014-15.
Wrexham won their first and only midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) match in League Two since their return to the league this season (4-2 v Walsall); the Red Dragons last won back-to-back midweek games in the Football League in December 2004.
